FulFill

Chuck Woolston served as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for Fulfill, formerly The FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties.  Fulfill works to meet the needs of our neighbors and win the battle against hunger. Fulfill has a comprehensive approach that goes beyond providing food and helps those in need get to a place where they can get back on their feet for good. Ending hunger in our communities is a complex challenge, so Fulfill provides a full suite of programs to provide the resources people need to become self-sufficient.

Count Basie Theater

Chuck Woolston served as Treasurer on the Executive Board for the Count Basie Theatre.  The Count Basie Theatre is a landmarked theatre in Red Bank, Monmouth County. It opened as the Carlton Theater in 1926 and was renamed in 1984 to honor jazz great and Red Bank native William “Count” Basie. The Count Basie Theatre is New Jersey’s premier center for the cultural arts, dedicated to fostering powerful, inclusive artistic experiences and creative exchange of ideas. The Basie mission is to inspire, educate and entertain through its distinct and engaging cultural and artistic offerings that reflect the diversity of the region.  As a nonprofit organization, the Basie is committed to enriching the community’s quality of life by generating opportunities for participation in the arts, partnering with schools, collaborating with other mission-based organizations and driving regional economic prosperity.

VITA – Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Many of our neighbors in need may qualify for a tax refund. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is a free, IRS-sponsored program to help low- and middle-income individuals have their federal and state personal income taxes prepared and filed electronically at no cost. The program serves households with dependents with incomes up to $54,000 and individuals with incomes up to $30,000 and runs during the tax season each year until April 15.

Volunteer tax preparers are trained and certified by the IRS and provide secure, confidential tax preparation at multiple sites in the community. VITA ensures that workers receive all the tax credits (Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit) to which they are entitled.

Woolston Consulting Group, LLC partners with Fulfill to bring this program to the residents of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
